Samuel Morris, Prince Kaboo

I finished reading the story of Samuel Morris . This is a story of an amazing young man. Saved by "a voice" and a flash of lightning which blinded the evil warlord who was beating him to death, Kaboo fled into the jungle guided by the same light that flashed around him. After learning the voice was that of Jesus, the Son of God, he boarded a ship full of pirate-like sailors who mistreated him. By his love and grace everyone one of those men became christians. The captain, who had also beaten the poor black boy, was moved by the power of Love that showed through him. Six months later, that same captain and crew were parting with hugs and tears with the young man who showed them the Light of the world that shines in darkness. That was the tip of the iceberg. See more about his story here: http://www.taylor.edu/about/morris/

While attending Taylor University (where he also died), Sammy allowed the art class to draw portraits of him. I believe this cover is taken from one of those portraits.

Samuel Morris was sold out for Jesus...and the Bible. He truly loved God with all his heart. Those of us who are Christians need to keep Sammy's legacy a live through the power of the same Holy Spirit. May God send revival soon!! Jeff P
